Myrtelle’s House, named for the former grand lady of the house, is a restored, completely furnished oil boom mansion. The large buff brick home has four upstairs bedrooms, a formal dining room, and living room, as well as a beautiful garden room connected to a large landscaped patio.

Located in beautiful downtown historic El Dorado the George Washington Mason House, circa 1875, is a fully restored home boasting 14-foot ceilings, a grand hallway arch, and four luxurious suites.
The Mason House was the home of George W. Mason Sr. whose lineage has been traced back to George Mason of Virginia. The house is in a historic residential district a block from the oldest house in El Dorado, the John Newton home, circ 1845.
The Mason House is ideally located only a block away from the headquarters of Murphy Oil, Murphy USA, and adjacent to HealthWorks, Arkansas’ premium fitness center. All guests have HealthWorks privileges.
The four suites are luxurious spacious rooms with quality bedding and other furnishings. The accommodations are ideal for family reunions, corporate travelers, and visitors who prefer the elegance of superior accommodations set in a historic home. The Mason House is pet friendly with a $30.00 non-refundable pet deposit. Please note that Mason House rooms are not eligible for discounts.

Envision a place that combines casual southern elegance with the atmosphere of the 1920s oil boom era in South Arkansas. Many of our suites have original hardwood floors, restored plaster walls, exterior brick walls, and historical reproduction prints of the era. Each suite has been specifically designed to enhance the discriminating guest’s comfort. Many of our suites offer balconies overlooking beautiful Corinne Court and fountain to add to the ambiance of your getaway. Breakfast is served in a beautifully decorated and restored 1884 Central of Georgia coach, train garret, and patio.
The Granite Club is a 7500 square foot circa 1926 oil boom mansion located two blocks from Murphy Oil, and one block from HealthWorks Fitness Center. It boasts the Governor’s suite, the premier suite in the mid-south, and three other rooms and suites.
Myrtelle’s House offers three bedrooms including two queen-size beds and two twin-size. Other amenities include two and a half baths, a formal dining room & living room, plus many additional features specific to the era. Myrtelle’s House fee is for one night’s lodging and requires an additional $250.00 security deposit.

Adjacent to Myrtelle’s House is Myrtelle’s Apartment. This executive apartment includes one queen-size bed, full kitchen, living area, dining area, and washer and dryer. This rate is for one month’s accommodations (30 nights). Rent is $169.00 per night or $2500/month.
The Corinne Suite is our ground-floor level suite to accommodate our clientele with special needs. It is also one of our largest suites at approximately 900 square feet. Recently remodeled, the Corinne Suite includes a large living room with two sofas, tables & chairs, a serving bar, and French doors which lead into a king-size bedroom with a separate dressing room and bath.

Suites One & Two are located in our Corinne Building which is adjacent to our main office. Both suites include one bedroom with a queen bed, full kitchen, living area, dining area, one full bath. A hide-a-bed is available in Suite One for your convenience. Suite Two includes a second bedroom with two twin-size beds and can comfortably sleep three to four people.
Corinne Court Suites 3 through 10 are conveniently designed with sizable sitting room sections in addition to large sleeping areas, full size baths and dressing areas. All rooms have at least one queen-size bed, with some rooms having an additional queen-size bed. Many of the rooms include balconies overlooking the beautiful courtyard and fountain at Corinne Court or the heart of downtown El Dorado.
Jefferson Street Suites are accessed via our entrance on Jefferson Street across from the historic Union County Courthouse. These suites offer one queen-size bed with a sizable sitting room section in addition to a full bath. First constructed in 1909, Jefferson Street Suites have retained many of the implements original to the building such as refurbished hardwood floors, restorative woodwork and the original exterior brick walls.
Jefferson Street Suites are accessed via our entrance on Jefferson Street across from the historic Union County Courthouse. This extra-large suite offers a large living room with a wet bar, a full kitchen/dining room, washer/dryer, and two bedrooms each with queen beds and walk-in closets.
The Mason Suites are located at the historic Mason House two blocks away from our main facility. Most suites offer one queen-size bed, full bath, and living room. If larger accommodations are necessary, Suite 22 adjoins Suite 21 by a double locking door, to include two extra-long twin beds and additional full bath. In addition to our other amenities, many of the Mason Suites offer access to a Private Veranda.
