You’re right in the middle of the fun at Downtown Guest Quarters, an Arkansas Executive Inn. In downtown El Dorado you will find beautifully restored 1920s and 1930s homes and businesses, specialty shopping, and great places to dine, snack, and see the sights. All of these are easily visited from your Downtown Guest Quarters lodging.
Downtown Guest Quarters consists of 32 suites. The original two Guest Quarter suites have a full kitchen, laundry, and dining area. The fourteen new Guest Quarters are large luxury rooms with sitting areas and large dressing rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a larger lodging establishment.
A discounted breakfast at Off the Rail Café, free internet, and use of a fitness center are included in the room charge. In our reception area, fax and copying services are available for a small extra fee. Wireless and wired Internet is also available in each room.
The Downtown Guest Quarters have been individually decorated to reflect casual Southern elegance. We believe our guests will enjoy staying in one of the mid-south’s premier executive inns.
It’s a family affair since the Mason’s daughter, Lara is the Guest Quarters Manager and her son Richard Coulter Mason is the Assistant Manager.
After moving back home from Texas, the Masons began buying real estate in downtown El Dorado. They singlehanded restored the rundown center of town, and in the process changed a downtown with less than 20% occupancy to an award-winning Main Street America downtown with 95% occupancy. In the process they developed Downtown Guest Quarters, starting with a two-suite “hotel” and today have over 30 suites scattered throughout the center of the city in a half dozen locations. The Guest Quarter’s large suites are all different with many of the rooms boasting antique furnishings. They offer a complimentary breakfast and free membership privileges to HealthWorks Fitness Center just a few steps away.
